Climate Change Initiatives
Climate change not only affects the entire fabric of human existence, but also poses a major threat to equitable economic growth, poverty reduction, and human security, and is an important issue that the entire world must work to solve. In recent years, phenomena that are thought to be caused by the adverse effects of climate change have been reported in many areas, and are expected to become a serious problem in various regions and fields in the future. We consider the issue of climate change to be an important management issue and have been working to understand its impact and build a system to manage the risks.

Effective Use of Natural Resources
DIP understands that it is imperative for the company to have in place policies and directives that demonstrate how seriously we regard waste generation and energy consumption, as well as other issues related to climate change and global warming. Working as a team, the company will continue to be committed to the effective use of limited natural resources, and to a reduction in the environmental footprint resulting from our business activities, with the goal of building a society that places the highest priority on the ecosystem that sustains us all.

Energy Saving Initiatives
At DIP, we take active steps to reduce our environmental impact through energy saving initiatives. Specific actions we have taken include the implementation of Cool Biz and Super Cool Biz which provide for the abolishment of the employee dress code, a reduction in the hours during which air conditioners are in use, and initiatives to ensure the appropriate temperature settings of air conditioners. In addition, we use highly energy-efficient equipment, such as LED lights, in our efforts to reduce energy consumption at each branch office.

Health Management Initiatives
Our management philosophy is 'People are everything, people are assets', and we believe that employee health management is one of the important factors that directly affects work productivity and employee happiness. It is not only about 'not getting sick', but also about 'becoming more energetic and happier than before'. With this in mind, we have adopted the concept of health management as geared toward 'improving the mind and body'.
