In order to achieve such goals, we believe it is necessary to make a shift in thinking from traditional " mass marketing " to a new way -- One to One Satisfaction . This in turn requires that we know each customerŽÕs need and wants and that we allow them to lead us in the direction of services that are useful to them . Personal media tools , such as the internet and the cell phone are of much greater value to us in this new paradigm than are traditional media like newspapers and the television . These personal media tools allow us to maintain a close " personal " relationship with all our valuable partners and clients and respond quickly and effectively as their needs change .
